Benzo Agent does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All task execution, extraction, screenshots, and recordings happen entirely in your browser. No analytics. No telemetry. No accounts.
Extension settings, task history, and saved runs are stored in Chrome's local extension storage on your device. You can clear them at any time by removing the extension.
If you enable LLM mode and configure a proxy URL, page structure (a text outline of the DOM — not personal content) is sent to your configured proxy for planning. You control that proxy. In local mode — the default — no network requests are made at all.
Benzo Agent is provided as-is under the MIT License. You are responsible for how you use it. Automating a site may violate that site's terms of service — always check before running the agent on sites you don't own.
Every permission requested by the extension is used exclusively for the features described in the listing. No data is shared with third parties.
